Graduate Program: Visiting Us In Spring 2008

All admitted students studying in the U.S. or Canada will be invited to visit Princeton, at our expense, during one of two weekends in the spring. During these two weekends, you will get an overview of the research currently underway in the department, from both current graduate students and faculty; visit chemical engineering laboratories, the Princeton campus, and several graduate student housing options; spend the evenings out with current graduate students; and meet individually with faculty in whose work you may have a particular interest. Each visitor will be matched with a host from among our current graduate students, whom you may contact in advance when planning your visit here.

We will cover all local expenses (hotel, meals, ground transportation) here in Princeton and provide each student a travel allowance which we expect will be sufficient to cover the cost of an economy-class air ticket to the Newark (closest and best-connected) or Philadelphia airports. Formal events start Friday morning, but where travel schedules permit, students are encouraged to arrive by dinnertime Thursday for an evening out with their hosts. Events will conclude on Saturday evening, with a departure date of Sunday. The dates for the 2008 Hosting Weekends are March 6 - 9 and March 27 -30.
